this is not my yard...but i wish it were hmmm...did i miss the real arbor day? today i found myself up to my ankles (literally, it was really tall) in grass, mowing and a yard that was not my own. i got sweaty. i got tired. i rolled my eyes a few times. i may or may not have destroyed a few flowers with a lawn mower on purpose just because i could. oops.
but it was wonderful. today i spent the afternoon with my family
mowing the yard of a woman who lives by herself and is battling
cancer.
today i had a wonderful day.
