i am a murderer of plants today

this is not my yard...but i wish it were

hmmm...did i miss the real arbor day? today i found myself up to my ankles (literally, it was really tall) in grass, mowing and a yard that was not my own. i got sweaty. i got tired. i rolled my eyes a few times. i may or may not have destroyed a few flowers with a lawn mower on purpose just because i could. oops.

but it was wonderful. today i spent the afternoon with my family

mowing the yard of a woman who lives by herself and is battling

cancer.

today i had a wonderful day.

if life were as tantalizing as a runza...

yes. it does feel odd writing in you.

i used to keep hidden under my dresser.

first things first - dedication. to my mother - the most amazing and wonderful person i know. a mother, a nurse, a cancer patient, a christian, a friend, a teacher, a supporter. i love her more than words can even come close to mirroring.

i want to remember life just like you do. hopefully this will help me.
